“It’s Ok” Thursday

This week is a little all over the place with the holiday and school starting up again, so I’m linking up with Neely from “A Complete Waste of Makeup” (love that blog name!) and Amber from “Brunch with Amber” for a round of…

Here’s my take on the week so far. It’s ok…

To only know which day of the week it is because your birth control tells you (oh hey, Labor Day, you are on a Monday, aren’t you?)

To find yourself somewhere between 30 to 100 pages into a few different books. Or six.

For none of those books to include the ones you’re required to read for law school.

To have a solo Law and Order SVU marathon each night, and count it as studying because you’re on the path to becoming a criminal lawyer (Netflix, you enabler…)

To feel like you have more of a social life when your husband and puppy aren’t around.

To drop a class when you realize you won’t ever have to leave home before 10 AM you’re going to need more hours in the day to write your note for the Law Journal.

To completely judge a class before you even start based on how well the syllabus is organized.

To put off your topic proposal until the last. possible. second. (I’ve had it for over a month. It’s due tomorrow at 5. Guess what tonight’s project is?)

To go into Trader Joe’s and buy a case of 2-buck Chuck.

To feel rich because your disbursement check finally came…until all of the bills are paid, that is.
